Mrs. Sheri Lira
Mrs. Lira teaches U.S. History, Government, Economics, and Geography. She has been teaching at Glendale Academy for seveteen years. Mrs. Lira also went to school here and graduated in 1982.

Sheri's parents both worked at Glendale Academy. Her father, Sonny Ines, started the Art Department at Glendale Academy in 1964. He retired in 1994. The new Art Department has been named the Eustaquio "Sonny" Ines Art Center in his honor. Beatrice Ines worked as the librarian for 18 years. Sheri is married to Mark Lira and they have five children. A twenty-one year old daughter, Chelsea, son Nicholas 15, daughter Megan 9 and the twins, Emily and Ryan 4. Sheri enjoys reading history books, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams, and cross stitching.
