"One God One People" Ben Jr. was blessed to have a loving home that had the best mother and father a boy could ever wish for, Lucy and Ben Sr.. Moreover, GAE/GAA had been his educational training ground from Elementary to Academy for 12 years. He received a Bachelors degree in Business from La Sierra University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Besides good food, good company and laughing until his stomach hurts, Ben loves long road trips with his lovely wife, Abigail. Eight years of Ben's professional life was in the death care industry, starting up a small business (Advent Bronze & Granite) in Glendale with two friends from GAA Class of 1990, Bruce Piromgraipakd and Joey Goette, designing and manufacturing bronze & granite memorials/signage, from 1997 to 2005. He later discovered a greater passion for youth ministry and teaching teens as a part time youth pastor at Vallejo Drive Church, SDA, from 2001-2008. When Ben sees a young person give their heart to God, "it’s the most beautiful sunrise." The root of the matter is that he feels best defined as being part of that tiny mustard seed Jesus talked about. The tree grows so big that even the birds have a place to nest. "The Kingdom of God has quite an extensive root system. A healthy portion of it just so happens to cross through 700 Kimlin Drive in the city of Glendale. Our administration and faculty are always busy perfecting recipes in academic excellence. More importantly, there is a distinct aroma of love and an unmistakable flavor of God’s Grace on our campus.
